Safety
We aim for a city that's safe 24/7, through effective community policing, and investing in the parts of HPD that can make the largest impact in our City. I'll promote programs like NNO, Crime Stoppers and PIP. I will also advocate for additional training so police know how to more effectively deal with difficult situations. Key to our strategy is investing in HPD’s Major Offenders Division to track, investigate, and arrest those criminals who come here to scam, burglarize, and illegally dump trash everywhere.
Economic Development
Revitalizing our deteriorating commercial corridors is key to creating jobs and bringing retail, commercial, as well as single and multifamily developments directly to our City. As your council member, I will invest the dollars and build partnerships to rejuvenate our faulty, fractured, defective, and deteriorating commercial corridors.
Streamlined City Services
I am committed to improving your life by streamlining city services. I aim to expedite processes, enhance online options, and address inefficiencies in systems like 311. As your council member, I'll push for an overhaul of the codes and ordinances that govern these services, reducing response times from months to days. My vision is a responsive, accessible City that promptly meets your needs.
